What is the mission of Kineis?
Kineis innovative connectivity solution is available everywhere, low power consumption, simple, reliable, and affordable, making it custom designed for IoT.
What does Kineis offer?
Kineis, a Space IoT operator, has its own constellation of nanosatellites. Objects connected through Kineis will be geo-located and able to transmit data from anywhere on the planet, no matter the weather conditions.
What is the Space Tech behind it?
Kineis aims to work closely with terrestrial IoT operators, current satellite operators and connected object manufacturers. Kineis will build a new and innovative constellation of 25 small satellites that will be in orbit by 2023 to provide global IoT connectivity, as well as high performance SAT-AIS service.
What are the applications?
With its offer of universal connectivity, Kineis will liberate the uses of IoT connectivity. Outdoor sports, agriculture, artisanal fishing, logistics, security but also science are all sectors of activity that can rely on Kineis services.
How is Kineis supporting the UN SDGs?
Kineis’ ultra-small devices at very low power and at an affordable will make it possible to connect humans to their planet, thus helping to meet the environmental related SDGs, such as protecting the environment and helping to fight climate change. As an example, Kineis allows to monitor wildlife (birds, fish, and mammals) and can help to fight poaching thanks to small transmitters. Similar devices will be used to monitor cattle, improving food security. In addition, Kineis can be used to monitor pollutions and water quality, by connecting to the right sensors.
