The mission of 4pi Lab is to provide an unique early wildfire detection and monitoring capabilities using a low-cost, high-performance space satellites for the real-time global coverage.

What does 4pi Lab offer?
4pi Lab offers a disruptive and proactive approach with very small wildfire detection to avoid downwind impacts. This is achieved through industry-leading continuous monitoring 365 days a year, day & night, every 4-6 hours and real-time data-acquisition, analysis, and distribution within seconds for critical early minutes decision-making action response.

What is the Space Tech behind it?
4pi Lab plans to launch into orbit a constellation of 16 low-cost satellites equipped with high-performance cameras to detect, precisely geo-locate, and report, small wildfires globally in real-time. Processed imagery and data collected are instantaneously analyzed and communicated to ground via risk-based AI-enabled alerts within seconds to minutes of wildfire detection.

What are the applications?
4pi Lab seeks to provide strategic value to governments, insurance companies, first responders, and remote industries, such as forestry, by reporting very small wildfires within seconds, leveraging self-sustaining smart satellite assets. 4pi Lab’s proprietary, real-time, early wildfire detection data capability, combined with existing satellite climate and emissions datasets, will enable a more effective and robust wildfire management response that results in reduced costs and ultimately leading to the rapid suppression of potentially disastrous wildfires to people, forests, and oceans.
